The Dallas Patriots 12u won the USTSA World Series going undefeated for the tournament. The Patriots scored over 100 runs in the tournament while allowing less than 20. Bailey Bennett threw a perfect game in a 22-0 victory. Michael Neustifter was named the World Series MVP as he played incredible blasting a grand slam over the fence, as well as multiple hits and great pitching. The entire Patriots team played well in the World Series, giving this team its 4th World Series title in a row!
On July 5th the 12u Dallas Patriots competed with 16 other teams in the Home Run Derby, Accuracy Throw, and Around The Horn competitions. Blake Frasier, Jordan Roberts, and Michael Neustifter were the 12U Dallas Patriots representatives for the Home Run Derby. Each batter had 7 pitches thrown by their coach. Blake Frasier won the competition hitting 4 home runs off of the stellar pitching by Coach Todd Cash. Jordan and Michael each had 1. No one in the home run derby had more then 1 hit out except for Blake Frasier. For the Around the Horn competition, 12U Dallas Patriots representatives were Chandler Fidel (1st base), Austin DeLeon (2nd), Ryan Cash (SS), Michael Neustifter (3rd), Blaze Beason (P), and Decker Branch (C). They won by having the fastest time of 7.1 seconds. For the Accuracy Throw competition, the representatives for the 12U Dallas Patriots were Blaze Beason and Zach Farrar. Blaze won the competition with a total of 10 points, Zach finished with a 6 point total. It was a fun competition for all and, to cap it all off, Blake Frasier was selected by USTSA to throw out the first pitch at the Texas Rangers that evening!
