Playing Career

Logan was actually committed to play college basketball at the University of Oklahoma before Gerald Turner (recently passed away- the scout for the Kansas City Royals) called and convinced him to play baseball instead. Gerald sent Logan to JUCO as a SS and had ankle surgery after starting every game as a Freshman, which led to him pitching for the first time since he was 12 years old. Logan was an All Conference RHP at Panola JC, then got healthy and committed to University of Dallas to be a 2 way guy, where he was  Conference Player of the year, All-American SS and RHP at University of Dallas.  After injury, Logan signed a professional contract as a RHP and played for 2 seasons before injury ended his career.
